Birdie with Lavendel filling

Það var eitt sinn eyrarblóm
á eyðistað,
og lítill fugl að kvöldi kom
og kyssti það.

Hann elskaði svo undurheitt
sitt eyrarblóm,
og veröldin var án þess öll
svo auð og tóm.

Að morgni eftir nepjunótt
og nístingsél
fram og aftur flögrar hann
um frosinn mel.

Þetta litla kríli er fyllt með þurrkuðum lavender og mun hanga í bílnum og gefa góða lykt í framtíðinni. Uppskriftin er frá Lucy á Attic24.

Eine kleine Tannenmeise,

wollte eins auf große reise,

wollte Fliegen wunderbar,

bis ins ferne Afrika.

Fleißig mit viel Flügelschlag,

flog sie einen ganzen Tag,

einen Tag und etwas mehr,

doch das Heimweh plagte sehr.

Ach da hielt sie´s nicht mehr aus,

drehte um und flog nach Haus.

Das ist meine kleine bunte Tannenmeise, gefüllt mit gut duftenden Lavender und wird bald auf ihre Reise gehen im Auto :) Muster ist von Lucy drüben auf Attic24 und ist einfach und macht spaß nachzuhäkeln.

This is my version of Lucy´s Birdie decoration, I filled it with some dry lavendel and am gonna use it as air freshener for the car. The pattern and directions by Lucy over at Attic24 are great and easy to follow as always. If you are however used to the US Terminology, be carefull and read the instructions, cause all her patterns are in UK Terminology.
